Pipe tig welder wanted in Sussex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Sussex County, New Jersey. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
