Catering cook • Henrico County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a catering cook in Henrico County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Your main tasks: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
