Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes The role involves: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
