We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction helper in Jones County, Texas. You will work with a civil contractor. The role involves dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
