Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Henry County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
