Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions The role involves hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker.
