Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Parke County, Indiana. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Part-time with flexible hours.
