Shuttering charge hand wanted in Audubon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Audubon County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
