Fabricator-welder • Nafada, Gombe State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nafada, Gombe State. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
