VMC operator wanted in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
