Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Vermillion County, Indiana. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Your main tasks: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Score the top of loaves before baking 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
