Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Shenandoah County, Virginia. The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience.
