We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
