TIG welder • Port-Harcourt, Rivers State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts.
