Immediate opening: gas commissioning technician (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Meade County, South Dakota. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Your main tasks: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
