Steel erection rigger wanted in West Lothian

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in West Lothian, Scotland. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits. Share your details and we will call you back.
