Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Brown County, Nebraska. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
