We are recruiting: VMC operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Saratoga County, New York. Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
