Now hiring: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The job is in shopping malls and office buildings. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces The role involves commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing.
