Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Butte County, Idaho. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
