Civil works labourer — Blackburn with Darwen

Now hiring: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Blackburn with Darwen, England. The job is on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
