Stainless steel welder • Iowa County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Iowa County, Iowa. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
