Scaffold fitter • Hardin County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Hardin County, Illinois. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. The role involves plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out. Requirements: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
