We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Calhoun County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Part-time with flexible hours.
