Refrigeration field service technician — Trego County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Trego County, Kansas. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. The role involves: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Valid driving licence for field call-outs We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
