The role involves: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Overtime paid at a premium rate.
