Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
