Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Walla Walla County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
