Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Walker County, Alabama. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
