Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Greene County, Illinois. You will be based in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
