Head baker • Stark County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Stark County, North Dakota. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
