Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Brown County, Wisconsin. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time, day shift.
