Immediate opening: milling machinist (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Manchester, England. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £140 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
