Urgent requirement: sand plant operator (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Traverse County, Minnesota. You will work on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant 6+ years on the tools preferred.
