Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
