Fabricator-welder — Assumption Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
