Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. You will work in a hotel kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha.
