Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing The role involves apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
