Metal roofing fitter — Jefferson Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day to day you will hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
