Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in New York County, New York. The job is at an oil and gas facility. The role involves check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
