We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Grundy County, Missouri. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time with occasional weekends.
