Plastering hand • Kenton County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plastering hand in Kenton County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
