Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A good head for heights and steady balance • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds The role involves: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
