Maintenance technician wanted in Manchester

Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance technician in Manchester, England. You will work in a food processing plant. The role involves: • Isolate and lock out machinery before starting repair work • Align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts • Replace worn bearings, seals, belts and couplings • Weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed • Inspect machine guards and safety interlocks during routine checks • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and reset fault codes Requirements: • Vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics or electrics • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC systems • Lockout/tagout and electrical safety training A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
