Offshore rigger • Idemili North, Anambra State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Idemili North, Anambra State. You will work at a container port. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
