Occupational health and safety officer • Kosofe, Lagos State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Kosofe, Lagos State. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. You will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
