Occupational health and safety officer • Morris County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Morris County, Kansas. The job is at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
