Pipe TIG welder wanted in Stanislaus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Stanislaus County, California. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Full-time, day shift.
