CO2 welder • Soba, Kaduna State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Soba, Kaduna State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
