Tower crane operator wanted in Vernon Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Full-time, day shift.
